As a part of IACEA’s Legislative Agenda, we have created a postcard that can be downloaded from the IACEA website (download postcard), printed on your printer on card stock and given to students whom you have to place on a waiting list. The postcard is set up to print four on a page front and back. If you need help with the printing, let Marilyn Schmidt know . The postcard is black and white to avoid needing color printers and copiers. Our previous postcard campaign was effective and we think this one will be, too. The student can fill it out, sign their name and address and your program name. It is your option to send them one at a time or to send or deliver a bunch together in a large envelope to your Illinois Senator or Representative. You can even copy them so that the student’s words can be sent to both legislators. We want our legislators to know how important adult education is to our students and how much we need additional resources.
