Hello Conference Attendees
I hope that you enjoyed spending the last two Fridays with my friends on the IACEA board, our fantastic presenters, and me. Personally, my biggest take away from this experience is that I miss you all. I miss being in a room filled with laughter, and camaraderie.
For these reasons, I am really looking forward to being together at our IACEA conference next year. Please allow me to thank the conference committee, Gregg Beglau, Michelle Lyman, Heather Martin, Jennifer Siegfried, and Shawna Scherer. Without these folks, the conference would not have happened. Also, a huge shout out needs to go to Team Awesome at Burlington English who were instrumental in the tech support that we had during both days. I would also like to thank our other sponsors GED Testing Service, ETS HiSet, DRC TABE, New Readers Press, ICCB, and Illinois Secretary of State.
To the presenters, who took time out of their hectic work schedules to share their innovations with the field; I am humbled by each and every one of you. Your commitment to the students you serve is without measure.
Most importantly, I would like to thank you, each and every one of you, who attended this first ever virtual IACEA conference, for your unwavering commitment to our students, as well as the colleagues in your field. Your impact is profound and limitless.
Thank you and see you on April 15th for Legislative Awareness Day!
Very truly yours,
