Collaborates with state agencies and the legislature to increase funding for adult education and literacy;
Provides a voice in government;
Represents adult education on statewide committees with regulatory agencies;
Communicates on an ongoing basis with members on current topics of importance;
Provides strong advocacy for adult education providers - public schools, community colleges, ROEs, and CBOs - to provide collective representation of the field;
Provides a member listserv, website, and social media pages;
Provides access to grants and awards for financial assistance;
Hosts an annual Awareness Day at the Capitol to communicate with the legislators;
Provides networking opportunities;
Provides staff development opportunities through an annual conference
